Ring doorbell 1 solar charger not charging.
Ring 2 solar charger not charging yes i installed my ring2 doorbell with the solar charging plate and the mounting holes lined up the same.

My concern was the charger mounting hole did not line up with the doorbell mounting plate holes.

Ring doorbell not charging have good luck with my ring doorbell till the battery went down to 3 i ve got it hardwired so i took it off and charged it up full now i have it back up and working but it s not holding the charge what is my problem.
After writing this review i decided to contact ring support for assistance.
However the solar charger does not work.

My charger gets full sun in the morning.

It does not charge but apparently just trickles a charge to maintain the battery and slightly increase the charge.
I installed the charger 2 weeks ago and the battery charge has increase.
So a 24 volt ac power supply will charge the battery in version 1 ring.
Not only did my battery loss 50 life in 5 days the doorbell doesn t even reflect that it s connected solar status says add a ring solar charger to extend battery life see setting screenshot.
No response from anyone who knows anything.
